Read the North American press release on 'SELECTION; Full Disclosure is Imminent'
From Epicurus to Sagan, and from Georges Méliès to James Cameron, extra-terrestrials have been imagined in many forms over thousands of Earth years. Is there intelligent life outside our solar system—in our own Milky Way galaxy? Maybe. Do we have evidence? Perhaps. Should we be prepared for alien contact? Absolutely. If you read SELECTION, you have a good idea of what I believe to be a reasonable probability of encountering intelligent extraterrestrial life and how the world could respond, especially considering the implications of full disclosure on the horizon. The late physicist Stephen Hawking warned us against initiating contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life, suggesting it might not bode well for humankind, and he could be right. Still, I believe that every effort to make contact should continue and be supported with an intelligent response plan. Of course, intelligent is always open to interpretation. What are your thoughts -- would common sense prevail or would an authoritarian regime demand supremacy ? Let me know. Jack Mac
